Trevor George Smith Jr. (born May 20, 1972), known professionally as Busta Rhymes, is an American rapper and actor. Chuck D of Public Enemy gave him the moniker Busta Rhymes, after NFL and CFL wide receiver George “Buster” Rhymes. He has received 12 Grammy Award nominations for his work, making him one of the most-nominated artists without winning.
Busta Rhymes was an original member of Leaders of the New School, a group that attracted national attention when they opened on tour for Public Enemy.[5] He gained exposure for their guest appearance on A Tribe Called Quest’s track “Scenario”. Shortly thereafter, Leaders of the New School broke up, leading Rhymes to become a sought after solo artist, appearing on numerous tracks for other artists before his solo debut album, The Coming (1996). Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit (pronounced “exhibit”), is an American rapper, actor, television presenter, and radio personality. He began his musical career in 1992, and signed with Loud Records, an imprint of RCA Records to release his debut studio album, At the Speed of Life (1996). The album saw positive critical reception, modestly entered the Billboard 200, and spawned the single “Paparazzi,” which peaked at number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100. His second album, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz (1998) was met with similar reception and spawned the single “What U See Is What U Get.”

Katrina Laverne Kearse (née Taylor; born December 3), known professionally as Trina, is an American rapper. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s for her collaborations with Trick Daddy on the singles “Nann Nigga”, “Shut Up”, and “Take It to da House”. In 2000, she released her debut album Da Baddest Bitch. Afterwards, she made an appearance on the remix of “One Minute Man” by Missy Elliott and Ludacris. He is best known for his 2006 hit single “It’s Goin’ Down”, and as a feature on T-Pain’s 2007 U.S. number-one single “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’)”.
Robinson met Atlanta producer Nitti Beatz and the two recorded the hit “It’s Goin Down” in the spring of 2005. After teaming with Russell “Block” Spencer, founder of the Block Enterprises label, Spencer signed Robinson to Sean Combs’s Bad Boy South for a multimillion-dollar deal, <sup id=”cite_ref-4″ class=”reference”></sup><sup id=”cite_ref-5″ class=”reference”></sup>and Bad Boy released Robinson’s debut <i>New Joc City</i> the following year.
